Maryland Nudists Lobby Congress

Great Outdoors Week in Washington, D.C., gave nudists from every geographic region of the United States a chance to share ideas and concerns with senators and representatives this week. WYPR News in Maryland interviewed AANR-East Maryland Government Affairs Coordinator Ray Simpson about his experiences as a nudist and his advocacy for public lands, especially lobbying efforts to restore a nude beach at Assateague Island. Simpson told WYPR that he visited the congressional offices of both Maryland senators during Great Outdoors Week, asking them to keep public lands open to all.
