The summer season officially opens this weekend as most AANR clubs kick off their season Memorial Day weekend. While there is a wide variety of clubs to visit, clothing-optional opportunities also abound at designated nude beaches.

The May 2009 TripAdvisor newsletter that goes out to millions of travelers worldwide arrived in inboxes today with the subject line “Clothing Optional Beaches.” The attached Beaches U.S. East contains locations where vacationers can find beaches that have “outdoor belly dancing,” “a lighthouse you can climb,” and “are covered in beautiful shells” but TripAdvisor chose the subject line for their newsletter to read “May 2009 Clothing Optional Beaches.”
