Google is sponsoring a contest called Doodle 4 Google featuring images kids have created. The entries are categorized by grades, and one finalist in the Grades 10-12 category shows a family of skinny-dippers hanging up their combat gear on the Google logo as they peacefully walk toward the water’s edge.
Help select the national finalists from a group of 40 regional winners. You can see the entries and vote by clicking here.

I cast my votes. I agree with the sentiments expressed by the artist in both words and the image.
I voted for it too! A GREAT message!
I hope it is a great success. We need more young people.
Suggestion: Could AANR sponsor a similar drawing contest open to young people using the logo somewhere in the picture? We we see it on three or four different months, rotated among the winners. Suggested prize: a free weekend stay at a club for the kid and his parents, and maybe a towel or kid-sized T-shirt with the winning picture on it? Some of the members might like to buy such cute towel or T-shirt also…
Excellent illustration! I love the message of peace, not war. If only more people would throw down their weapons and instead hold their child’s hand at the beach, the world would be better off.
Hi, good post. I have been wondering about this issue,so thanks for posting.
I think I will try to recommend this post to my friends and family, cuz it’s really helpful.
